The Deserted Church

May 27, 2010

A poem I wrote back in English lessons when I was 12…

A church that lies in a misty valley,
Rotting vines creeping all over
Ghostly shadows lurking in the darkness,
A sinister graveyard, corpses buried deep,
A creaky floorboard, an eerie whisper,
Mysterious noises, strange voices,
Secrets hidden behind every door,
The deserted church untouched by time.
